8 year old girl from odisha become youngest to rewrite "RAMAYANA".

Meet ISHITA ACHARY, 8 year old girl from Odisha who became the youngest child to Rewrite RAMAYANA(Hindu Mythological Tale).


During lock down days, ishita use to watch RAMAYANA. Ramanand Sagar’s epic version of lord Ram’s tale. ISHITA, who was fascinated by the mythological stories since her childhood days, got pretty inspired by lord Ram’s life changing story. Influenced she wrote her own version of RAMAYANA at the age of 8 in English language. She completed it in 22 days covering 57 pages.

Challenges :

Recalling the RAMAYANA stories and composing them in my own words was too difficult sometimes. Whenever, something comes to my mind, I use to scribble them in my rough note which helped me to compose them later in my fair note.

Awards & Recognition:

ISHITA got felicitated with prestigious India Book of records on 15th June 2020, for her outstanding work. In addition to this she also got covered by top Print media & electronic media of the country including Asian Age, ETV. All India Radio and 23 more. Since her kinder garden days, she used to compose and tell stories. We have nurtured and encouraged her, a lot to develop this creativity. Gradually, she had started writing them in her note books . She had started writing RAMAYANA without our knowledge and by the time we came to know about it, she have completed many pages already. Apart from writing ISHITA enjoy painting in her spare time and has her own Facebook page called "Ishita's Wonderland." Where she post all her painting. This little knowledge house aspire to become IAS officer to server her nation. Says ,ISHITA’S father.
